The kid’s dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal for our kids’ dash event! (If your child wants to run the kid’s dash, and doesn’t want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)

This chip-timed event starts and finishes at the brewery and follows a flat, scenic out-and-back course. Great post race party with included beer, food trucks, awards and random drawings.

Help us kick off National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by joining us for the Chance for Hope Going Gold Fun Run, an officially-timed 5K and 10K race open to participants of all ages! From competitive runners to leisurely walkers, the Fun Run offers something for everyone. In addition to the race itself, an event village features music, race prizes and fun activities for the kids.

Join our fight to raise awareness, funds, and hope through the 14th Annual Head for the Cure 5K – Houston! Funds raised through this event will locally benefit brain tumor research at MD Anderson Brain & Spine Center, Path to Hope, and other national brain cancer programs, education, and initiatives. 

This year marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of that day and those who stepped up to serve in the wars that followed. These annual events are critical to helping Americans fulfill a promise to never forget and share the significance of that day with future generations.

Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families.

The Yuri’s Fun Run Houston is part of an annual worldwide celebration that commemorates the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin, as well as the first orbital flight of the US Space Shuttle. Both these pioneering events took place on April 12th – in 1961 and 1981 respectively. As such, our race is always run on, or close to, the 12th April, and is often held in conjunction with a Family Space Day celebration with interactive booths, displays and simple water rocket demonstrations. Yuri’s Night celebrations around the world fuel public interest in space exploration, technology, and the aerospace industry.

This is our nighttime party trail run just West of Houston at Stephen F. Austin State Park! The trails are wide and mainly gravel/dirt with a few quick elevation changes but a great trail run for beginners to advanced. 

​All runners will need both a light and hydration device as mandatory equipment. The trail will be marked with reflectors and ribbons. We are a cupless race so you must carry your own bottle/flask. Follow park instructions for parking along the right side of the park road, starting at the group dining hall event area and filling back from there. 

The group dining hall is where all the action happens; packet pickup, start/finish, spectator hang-out lawn with runners personal area, and our main aid station. A second water refill will be available at halfway at the road crossing. Extra lights and costumes are encouraged! Sunset is at 7:30 PM.

This chip-timed event starts and finishes at the brewery, runs along the famed Galveston Seawall on a well supported, flat and fast out and back course. Walker friendly! Once you cross the finish line, hit the tasting area to collect your souvenir pint glass and enjoy up to four 8-oz. tastings of Galveston Island craft beer!

As the community event for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the St. Jude Walk is where we unite supporters across the country to provide hope and healing for families during their toughest times. Regardless of your pace or path — whether you choose to walk, skip, hop or stroll — when you join the St. Jude Walk, you’re taking steps to help cure childhood cancer.

The Brazos Bend course is the fastest trail in Texas trail running. The course is 99.9% flat, and the only hill is 10 feet. Other than that you will be running on flat surfaces that move from hard crushed rock, soft hiking trails under tree canopy, and easy horse trails. Conditions in the Spring are typically warm and humid but can still start with some cooler mornings. Brazos Bend is a spectacular State Park located just South of Houston/Sugar Land and is most known for its abundance of birds and American Alligators among other wildlife. The gators are a part of our race, there has never been an incident in the park. Enjoy them on your run, from a distance, and you may get some unique race photos!
