After a completely SOLD OUT inaugural year, the ‘Sugar Land Space Cowboys 5K’: Presented by Houston Methodist is back on Saturday, September 19th—and Year #2 is set to be even more electric. This isn’t just a race—it’s a full ballpark experience. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the stands, grab your crew and get ready for a high-energy morning that finishes ON THE FIELD near home plate.

With last year’s event selling out and demand already building, this year will be just as exclusive—only 2,500 registration spots are available, and they won’t last long so act fast and claim your spot in the lineup! 

This year’s race will be in-person or virtual run/walk consisting of a 5K / 10K on Saturday, September 19th in scenic downtown Conroe, TX.  The registration fee will include a custom t-shirt commemorating the event, which will be available during packet pickup at Fleet Feet located at 1925 Hughes Landing Blvd Ste 900 in The Woodlands, TX 77380 on September 17th from 10 am to 5 pm; at the Woodforest National Bank located at 400 West Davis on Friday September 18th from 9 am to 5:00 pm; and race day morning from 6 am to 7:45 am.  As always, net proceeds will benefit the Woodforest Charitable Foundation®.  To learn more about this event or the Woodforest Charitable Foundation, please visit our website at: https://www.woodforest.com/woodforest-cares/community-support/woodforest-bank-charity-run/

BISD is excited for our 4th Annual BISD Family 5K Run/Walk & Kids 1K Fun Run benefiting the health and wellness of our BISD teachers and staff!  Please join us for our Fun Run fundraiser featuring a chip timed 5K and Kids Fun Run.

The BISD Family 5k FUN run is a timed event, however it is an event for everyone of every ability. It’s your event to enjoy as you wish! So don’t worry about finishing times (unless you want to) – just come along to enjoy the day!

Date/Time: Saturday September 27th. Kids run 7:30 am, 5K at conclusion of the Kids Run

Parking: Brazoswood High School Student parking lot

All runners will receive the official 2025 participant race shirt and finishers medal. *Must register by Monday, September 9th to guarantee your shirt.

Houston, get ready to run with your PEEPS® once again! The ‘Running With My PEEPS®’ 5K/10K series is making its 3rd annual stop in Houston this year. If you’re eggs-cited for Easter, join thousands from across the country who have completed this awesome holiday weekend kick-off event and show every “bunny” what you’re made of!

Join Us for the 22nd Annual Beneeezy Purple Monkey Fun Run

With a 1K kids run, 5K, and 10K, there’s something for everyone. Bring the family, gather your walking group, or race to win a monkey.

Come ready for more than just the run, race day features live music, on-course entertainment, raffle prizes, finisher medals, popsicles for the kids run, and health and wellness vendor booths.

Start and finish at Galveston’s R.A. Apffel East Beach Park. Run entirely on sand, the Sand Crab is an adventure under the stars on a beautiful Galveston Beach at night! All races are chip timed including the Kid’s K. The Sand Crab starts on beautiful East Beach and runs west for 3.1 or 1.55 miles (depending on the event), then turns back to the finish. The course is marked with led lights. Runners are required to run with a flashlight or head lamp. The Kid’s K will start at 8 pm. Parents are welcome to run with kids free of charge. The 5K/10K will start at 8:30PM. The 5K run is very walker friendly with a 2hr cut off. The 10K is walkable but will share the 2 hr cut off. 10K runners must be at the 3.1 mile turnaround within 1 hour. There are 2 waterstops with sports drink and water hit 2X ea for the 10K and 1 hit 2X for the 5K.

This is our nighttime party trail run just West of Houston at Stephen F. Austin State Park! The trails are wide and mainly gravel/dirt with a few quick elevation changes but a great trail run for beginners to advanced. 

​All runners will need both a light and hydration device as mandatory equipment. The trail will be marked with reflectors and ribbons. We are a cupless race so you must carry your own bottle/flask. Follow park instructions for parking along the right side of the park road, starting at the group dining hall event area and filling back from there. 

The group dining hall is where all the action happens; packet pickup, start/finish, spectator hang-out lawn with runners personal area, and our main aid station. A second water refill will be available at halfway at the road crossing. Extra lights and costumes are encouraged! Sunset is at 7:30 PM.

The Spring Cleaning Dash is a non-profit race event produced in coordination with the Clear Lake City Community Association’s annual Spring Festival!

No frills run, runners will receive a pair of socks at bib pick-up!

The San Felipe Shootout is an exciting race format with a very unique twist on racing. The event will consist of three separate races; the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon. The SHOOTOUT (triple) combines all races back-to-back-to-back with the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon for a cumulative time. The faster you run, the more break you have between events. Shootout runners must start each race at the gun.
