Each season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember! Everyone in our program receives a commemorative medal to celebrate this incredible achievement.

The Fit Foodie Family 5K & Kids’ 1K welcomes everyone, from two-year-old walkers with a parent to the most elite 5K runners.

Bring your family to Sugar Land Town Square on Memorial Day weekend for a morning of spring fitness, community, food, and fun.

Cross the finish line of the 5K or Kids’ 1K, grab your medal, and celebrate with a post-race party featuring live entertainment, recovery services, family activities, and plenty of delicious and useful items from our vendors. You earned it.

Wildflower takes place over two days with a range of standard and unique race distances. This is a beautiful single-track trail system in the Texas Hill Country. The trail will take you through sections of pine, sand, rock, rolling climbs, and fun descents. The scenery allows you to see the fire-struck forest from 2011 as well as the rebirth of the Lost Pines in the area.

This race is so much fun and a great option for anyone who wants to try out a trail race. There are so many different options for distances, and it’s not too far from Houston. It’s a great time!

Cue the suspense music… it’s time to hit the course, Shark Week style! This high-energy, family-friendly race is splashing onto the scene with ocean vibes, bold fun, and just the right amount of bite.

Hosted by Bigfoot Running Company, Shark Week is where serious miles meet jawsome race-day excitement. Whether you’re cruising the 1 Mile or hunting down a 10K PR, you’ll cross the finish line feeling like the apex runner of the day.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of that day and those who stepped up to serve in the wars that followed. These annual events are critical to helping Americans fulfill a promise to never forget and share the significance of that day with future generations.

We are very excited to see all of our friends back at The Pear Run! Whether you’re a runner, a sponsor or a volunteer, we’ve got a place for you.

Every Memoridal Day we meet at the Town Center Park in Kingwood to honor those who gave it all for our freedoms by completing/competing in one of two Hero Races: MURPH / LOREDO, or a Half-Marathon / 5K/10k … 10 and Under fun: Kids Mini-Salute (short mini hero race).

THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE 5K….This high-energy 5K team challenge puts three-person teams head-to-head against others in timed competition where strength, wit, and teamwork matter as much as speed. Teams race in multiple competitive heats, completing 3 laps around the 1.05 mile course. At the end of every lap, teams face a physical or mental challenge that must be completed before moving on. Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families.

This Cinco de Mayo, challenge yourself and celebrate resilience, community, and culture with the Cinco de Mayo Run Against All Odds! Whether you’re running for fun or for fitness, this event is all about pushing limits and embracing the spirit of overcoming obstacles—just like the holiday itself! There’s no equipment or setup, this is a pure run with our coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting!

The 2nd Annual Operation Ruck the Bayou will be hosted on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 at Saint Arnold Brewery in Houston, TX. This event will support The Joshua Chamberlain Society’s Houston Chapter.
