This Cinco de Mayo, challenge yourself and celebrate resilience, community, and culture with the Cinco de Mayo Run Against All Odds! Whether you’re running for fun or for fitness, this event is all about pushing limits and embracing the spirit of overcoming obstacles—just like the holiday itself! There’s no equipment or setup, this is a pure run with our coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting!

This is our nighttime party trail run just West of Houston at Stephen F. Austin State Park! The trails are wide and mainly gravel/dirt with a few quick elevation changes but a great trail run for beginners to advanced. 

​All runners will need both a light and hydration device as mandatory equipment. The trail will be marked with reflectors and ribbons. We are a cupless race so you must carry your own bottle/flask. Follow park instructions for parking along the right side of the park road, starting at the group dining hall event area and filling back from there. 

The group dining hall is where all the action happens; packet pickup, start/finish, spectator hang-out lawn with runners personal area, and our main aid station. A second water refill will be available at halfway at the road crossing. Extra lights and costumes are encouraged! Sunset is at 7:30 PM.

Because we’re all about fun, family-friendly events that welcome every pace and fitness level. This spring race is the perfect chance to challenge yourself, enjoy creative swag, and be part of an encouraging, affordable, and inclusive community. As Memorial Day approaches this May, join us in making a difference for our nation’s heroes by participating in the Legacy of Courage Half Marathon. All proceeds from this inspiring event will benefit The Outdoor Disabled Veterans Program (The ODV), through Knowledge Point Network. This is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity to honor and support disabled veterans by helping them reconnect with the healing power of nature in a community that understands their struggles.

Veterans with physical injuries and those with invisible wounds of war come together through KPN to find healing, support, and camaraderie. The ODV’s programs center around outdoor adventures and therapeutic activities, empowering veterans to overcome challenges and rediscover their independence.

Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation will directly contribute to a cause that changes lives. Together, we can give back to those who’ve given so much for our freedom.

“Have you been wondering if you can get hill work here in Houston? Have you been looking for an affordable half marathon to run in August?”

For 0.00 dollars you get the TC Jester Half Marathon amounting to ~10 loops or 10k for ~4 loops. Finisher medals will be given as well as 1st-3rd age group awards*

This is a “fatass” (aka unofficial) half-marathon and 10k. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be goodies and surprises to keep the jest of the original TC Jester Half.

This run is in honor and memory of James Tomkins who hosted the inaugural half in 2018, along with Darrin.

The 5th race in our Holiday Series! The Memorial Day 10K and 5K honors the men and women who have given their lives serving in the U.S. Military.

5k/10k/Half Marathon registration includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal!

1 Mile registration is untimed and includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal!

The kid’s dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal for our kids’ dash event! (If your child wants to run the kid’s dash, and doesn’t want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)

Every Memoridal Day we meet at the Town Center Park in Kingwood to honor those who gave it all for our freedoms by completing/competing in one of two Hero Races: MURPH / LOREDO, or a Half-Marathon / 5K/10k … 10 and Under fun: Kids Mini-Salute (short mini hero race).

Join us for Year 9 of this fast and scenic half marathon course with the best post-race food and fun anywhere . If you’re not quite ready to tackle the half, we have 2-person relay teams and a 5k, as well as a 1k Kids race for the little ones. Can’t make it out, but want all the swag mailed to you? There is a virtual option!

We love the 4th so much that we start celebrating Independence Day the week before!! Join us for the 10th annual Independence Day 8K! Freedom is a wonderful thing!

This also happens to be the 6th race in the Houston Holiday Series!

Wildflower takes place over two days with a range of standard and unique race distances. This is a beautiful single-track trail system in the Texas Hill Country. The trail will take you through sections of pine, sand, rock, rolling climbs, and fun descents. The scenery allows you to see the fire-struck forest from 2011 as well as the rebirth of the Lost Pines in the area.
