This Cinco de Mayo, challenge yourself and celebrate resilience, community, and culture with the Cinco de Mayo Run Against All Odds! Whether you’re running for fun or for fitness, this event is all about pushing limits and embracing the spirit of overcoming obstacles—just like the holiday itself! There’s no equipment or setup, this is a pure run with our coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting!

Join us on May 2nd, 2026, for an unforgettable race day that blends fitness, family fun, and community celebration!

The course begins on Hamilton Street and finishes with a dramatic run across the stadium’s warning track. Young runners can take part in the Kids Dash, completing one lap around the outside of the stadium. A Special Guest Starter and live DJ will kick off the event, while every participant will be celebrated as their name is announced at the finish line.

After the race, enjoy a lively post-race party on the concourse with food and beverages available for purchase. Plus, don’t miss special appearances by the Shooting Stars and Orbit, adding extra excitement to the day.

Hosted by the Texas Exes Houston Chapter, this annual event features a 10K, 5K, and Kids 1K Fun Run, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels.

More than just a race, the Lone Star Stampede is about making an impact—proceeds fund scholarships for Houston area students pursuing their dreams of higher education at The University of Texas at Austin. As a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Texas Exes Houston Chapter is committed to fostering the next generation of Longhorn leaders while strengthening the bonds of our Houston community.

Join us on January 30, 2027, for the SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run, where fun meets flavor in the most delicious way possible. Choose your challenge — 5K, 10K, or 10 mile — and cross the finish line into a chocolate lover’s paradise.

Come on out and celebrate the 18th Annual USA Fit Marathon, Shottenkirk Kia – Fort Bend Half Marathon, and Simon Spine 5K. Our event is known as “Everyone’s Marathon” because we believe all athletes, no matter what their pace, should get the chance to enjoy the race experience.

Formed in 1972, the Houston Marathon Committee® (HMC) is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization that plans a multi-race running event (marathon, half marathon and 5K). A Running USA founding member, the HMC is overseen by a board of directors, 12 staff members and approximately 7,000 race weekend volunteer positions.

Because we’re all about fun, family-friendly events that welcome every pace and fitness level. This spring race is the perfect chance to challenge yourself, enjoy creative swag, and be part of an encouraging, affordable, and inclusive community. Whether you’re chasing a PR or just showing up for the fun, we’re here to cheer you on every step of the way.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for some outdoor fun, we have something for everyone with distances ranging from a thrilling 1 mile to a challenging 15K.

A low-key, four loop, flat, fast, tree lined course, certified Boston qualifier, with custom shirts, race hats, finisher medals, and a complimentary pizza lunch and beer after the event. All proceeds from this event are donated to Coats for Kids, Global Wheelchair Mission and Orphanos Foundation.
