The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of competition, while enjoying the outdoors and promoting healthy living. Each athlete receives a “Goodie Bag” with a race bib, shirt and a finisher medal.

Lace up your sneakers and get ready to make a splash for a cause that hits close to home. Join us Saturday, June 13th 2026 for the Big Rivers Splash & Dash, where every step you take supports critical research and awareness for TANGO2 — a rare genetic disorder that’s personally impacted the Galland family, owners of Big Rivers.

This is the 57th running of the oldest race in Texas. You can boast on Sunday morning that you ran on the same track as Olympic Medalists Clayton Murphy and Matt Centrowitz and that you finished at the same time as Houston’s premier runners. Run as many RPMs (laps) as you please in 33:20. Pre-LP lbs. weigh-in for Clydesdales and Rubens. The racecourse is around a beautiful 400 meter bouncy synthetic track – no asphalt or concrete or potholes! Run at Rice University. By arriving early or staying late, the rare opportunity exists to actually watch some of Houston’s best runners.

Texas’ Hottest trail race, the Habanero Hundred was born from a summer long-run gone wrong (ask Race Director Cal) and is now one of the largest trail races in the state, held in August every year with options for many distances and the marquee event being the 100-mile distance.

The relay option will also allow you to run with a team, friends, or family to complete this monumental task. In the first year of the event, we only had ONE finisher in the 100 Mile event, Julie Schmal! Ever since we have put our 100mi finishers’ names printed on the back of the next year’s shirt. Between 2015 and 2024 there have only been 162 finishes of the Habanero Hundred 100mi.

Are you up for the challenge? Maybe start with one of our shorter solo distances or join a team in the highly competitive relay events for either the 100km or 100mi distance relays.

The Coastal Plains Relay is your chance to take on an exhilarating 75-mile running relay race, starting in Richmond, TX, and finishing on the stunning beach of Surfside, TX. Gather your run or ruck team for an unforgettable journey as you navigate scenic backroads, each person taking their turn to push towards the finish line. Join the fight against hunger by participating in Montgomery County Food Bank’s annual Outrun Hunger event, featuring a 8K & 5K Trail Run | 1K Color Dash : Presented By H-E-B. The event’s proceeds benefit Montgomery County Food Bank’s programs for children, seniors, and families facing hunger in Montgomery County. This community-wide event offers summer fun for all ages. All event long at the Party Pavilion, you’ll enjoy music, food trucks, photo ops, a kids zone, and more. We encourage all participants to set up a fundraiser to make your impact go even further. TROT XC is back! Trail Racing Over Texas, in partnership with Hardloop Endurance, is proud to be hosting the 2026 Houston Area Road Runners’ (HARRA) Cross Country, as part of the Fall series of races. New for 2026 we will be running an open 5km race and scoring the meet for clubs and teams to compete just like the high school days. The event is open to all runners (not just HARRA). Race as an individual, or gather a team, select your division, and join us for a fun cross-country meet.

Wildflower takes place over two days with a range of standard and unique race distances. This is a beautiful single-track trail system in the Texas Hill Country. The trail will take you through sections of pine, sand, rock, rolling climbs, and fun descents. The scenery allows you to see the fire-struck forest from 2011 as well as the rebirth of the Lost Pines in the area.
