Big Rivers Waterpark proudly presents… the 2nd Annual Big Rivers Splash & Dash — Benefitting the TANGO2 Research Foundation!

Lace up your sneakers and get ready to make a splash for a cause that hits close to home. Join us Saturday, June 13th 2026 for the Big Rivers Splash & Dash, where every step you take supports critical research and awareness for TANGO2 — a rare genetic disorder that’s personally impacted the Galland family, owners of Big Rivers.

The San Felipe Shootout is an exciting race format with a very unique twist on racing. The event will consist of three separate races; the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon. The SHOOTOUT (triple) combines all races back-to-back-to-back with the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon for a cumulative time. The faster you run, the more break you have between events. Shootout runners must start each race at the gun.

This three day event features a Friday 5K and Kid K, Saturday marathon, half marathon, and 4-person marathon relay, and a Sunday half marathon, quarter-marathon, and 5K. The Seabrook Lucky Trail Marathon is held on the Seabrook nature trails surrounded by a diverse habitat of both fresh and salt marsh, the coastline of the Galveston Bay, wetlands, and wild-life and bird sanctuaries. The course consists of crushed granite surface. In addition to participating in any single race, runners can enter one of the challenges by finishing two half marathons or a marathon and half marathon. This popular event has been known for its enthusiastic volunteers, great goodie bag and awesome post-race party.

Choose from a speedy 1 mile, a thrilling 5K, a challenging quarter marathon, or a mighty half marathon.

Celebrate Veterans Day with our Freedom Run! Kick off the weekend with a fun 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon with friends and family in deep gratitude for the Veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

You can raise funds for a charity of choice (Optional). 100% of the net funds raised will go towards your cause of choice. 

The La Porte By the Bay Half Marathon starts from Sylvan Beach Park by the water, proceeding through La Porte streets and on to the Fred Hartman Bridge, one of the most beautiful and unique structures in Texas. The race finishes at Five Points Plaza where the post-race party awaits with amazing food and cold beer, awards and good times with family, fellow runners and friends. All finishers will receive a medal.

Kick off your Thanksgiving celebration with a healthy and fun-filled event at the Houston Turkey Dash in Houston, Texas! Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking for a great way to spend time with family and friends, this event has something for everyone. Choose from a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, or the Family 1K, and enjoy a scenic course, long or short, and celebrate gratitude for the time spent with family and friends.

Don’t want to get up early on Thanksgiving Day? The Great Houston Pie Run is for you! Join us on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, enjoy a beer, your own mini-pie, a fast race, and best of all – no guilt for sleeping in on Thanksgiving Day!​
