Started in 1978, this race began to benefit the Brenham High School Athletic program and did so for many years. Today, the run serves a broader community by fostering the physical health of and instilling good character in the youth of Washington County.

Run for the Youth of Washington County sponsors events like the Blue Bell Fun Run, and conducts and provides charitable and other non-profit programs and activities in Washington County. Brenham High School athletes serve as volunteers for the race

Run or walk as we REMEMBER THE TEN we lost on May 18, 2018. Proceeds benefit the Santa Fe Ten Memorial; a future place of introspection and reflection for a community forever impacted.

1st – 3rd place medals for 5K male and female age groups; 10 – 14, 15 – 19, 20 – 34, 35 – 49, 50 – 64, and 65+. We will also be awarding 1st – 3rd Kids 1K (ages 2 – 10), champion dog walker, champion dual runner and champion team categories. We will also have a music, silent auction, treats for finishers, and food trucks.

Missed the online registration deadline? Join us at 7:00 am on May 16th and mention you would like to register same day.  Some items may not be available, but we plan to have extra shirts and medals on-hand.

Join us this May for a hilarious, high-energy, springtime celebration of running, picnics, and pups — complete with a free hot dog and beverage at the finish line! 🐾🌸

This isn’t just a run — it’s a full-on BBQ bash with a side of community love. We’re proud to partner with a local wiener dog rescue group, to help fund their rescue operations. We’ll also be collecting dog food, toys, and treats for our four-legged friends — so bring a bag and show some puppy love!

Strut your stuff in a fabulous PINK TUTU, paired with your DIVA RACE SHIRT. As you race, grab a TIARA and BOA along the course to complete your glamorous look. Cross the finish line and earn your well-deserved FINISHER MEDAL, celebrating your strength and style. It’s the ultimate blend of fun, fitness, and fabulousness because every diva deserves to shine!

Join us for Year 9 of this fast and scenic half marathon course with the best post-race food and fun anywhere . If you’re not quite ready to tackle the half, we have 2-person relay teams and a 5k, as well as a 1k Kids race for the little ones. Can’t make it out, but want all the swag mailed to you? The Texas Crab Fest 2026 promises to be a tasty mix of Gulf Coast fun for the whole family! Kick off Saturday with a chip-timed 5K and Kids 1K Run/Walk and our 0.0K at our NEW VENUE: Camp Margaritaville Resort Crystal Beach!

First launched in April 2010, the Sisters Network Inc. Stop the Silence National African American Breast Cancer 5K Walk/Run is the first and only national breast cancer walk hosted by a black-led organization for black women. The walk is hosted in April to draw attention to National Minority Health Awareness month.

Over the last 15 years, more than 4,000 participants from around the United States travel to Houston, Texas annually to honor and celebrate black women diagnosed with breast cancer. A portion of the funds raised from the Stop the Silence walk benefits Sisters Network Inc. Karen E. Jackson Breast Cancer Assistance Program (BCAP). The national program pays for 3D mammograms for uninsured women and provides financial assistance to breast cancer survivors who are currently in treatment.

There’s no equipment or setup, this is a pure run with our coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting!

The 5th race in our Holiday Series! The Memorial Day 10K and 5K honors the men and women who have given their lives serving in the U.S. Military.

The race supports brain cancer research and pediatric initiatives, recognizes brain tumor survivors, and remembers loved ones lost to this devastating disease.

Race-day activities include a 5K Run, 5K Walk, Family 1K, Survivor Stroll for brain tumor patients, and a lively post-race party for all participants. 5K Run participants are eligible to win awards, given to overall top male and female participants, and those who finish first in age-specific categories. Children receive medals. This is a certified race.
