Whether you’re running for fun or for fitness, this event is all about pushing limits and embracing the spirit of overcoming obstacles—just like the holiday itself! There’s no equipment or setup, this is a pure run with our coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting!

Whether you’re chasing a PR or just showing up for the fun, we’re here to cheer you on every step of the way.

As Memorial Day approaches this May, join us in making a difference for our nation’s heroes by participating in the Legacy of Courage Half Marathon. All proceeds from this inspiring event will benefit The Outdoor Disabled Veterans Program (The ODV), through Knowledge Point Network. This is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity to honor and support disabled veterans by helping them reconnect with the healing power of nature in a community that understands their struggles.

Veterans with physical injuries and those with invisible wounds of war come together through KPN to find healing, support, and camaraderie. The ODV’s programs center around outdoor adventures and therapeutic activities, empowering veterans to overcome challenges and rediscover their independence.

Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation will directly contribute to a cause that changes lives. Together, we can give back to those who’ve given so much for our freedom.

The 5th race in our Holiday Series! The Memorial Day 10K and 5K honors the men and women who have given their lives serving in the U.S. Military.

Every Memoridal Day we meet at the Town Center Park in Kingwood to honor those who gave it all for our freedoms by completing/competing in one of two Hero Races: MURPH / LOREDO, or a Half-Marathon / 5K/10k … 10 and Under fun: Kids Mini-Salute (short mini hero race).

Wildflower takes place over two days with a range of standard and unique race distances. This is a beautiful single-track trail system in the Texas Hill Country. The trail will take you through sections of pine, sand, rock, rolling climbs, and fun descents. The scenery allows you to see the fire-struck forest from 2011 as well as the rebirth of the Lost Pines in the area.

Review of Wildflower Trail Run

This race is so much fun and a great option for anyone who wants to try out a trail race. There are so many different options for distances, and it’s not too far from Houston. It’s a great time!

This is the 57th running of the oldest race in Texas. You can boast on Sunday morning that you ran on the same track as Olympic Medalists Clayton Murphy and Matt Centrowitz and that you finished at the same time as Houston’s premier runners. Run as many RPMs (laps) as you please in 33:20. Pre-LP lbs. weigh-in for Clydesdales and Rubens. The racecourse is around a beautiful 400 meter bouncy synthetic track – no asphalt or concrete or potholes! Run at Rice University. By arriving early or staying late, the rare opportunity exists to actually watch some of Houston’s best runners.

Come on out and celebrate the 18th Annual USA Fit Marathon, Shottenkirk Kia – Fort Bend Half Marathon, and Simon Spine 5K. Our event is known as “Everyone’s Marathon” because we believe all athletes, no matter what their pace, should get the chance to enjoy the race experience.

Formed in 1972, the Houston Marathon Committee® (HMC) is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization that plans a multi-race running event (marathon, half marathon and 5K). A Running USA founding member, the HMC is overseen by a board of directors, 12 staff members and approximately 7,000 race weekend volunteer positions.

A low-key, four loop, flat, fast, tree lined course, certified Boston qualifier, with custom shirts, race hats, finisher medals, and a complimentary pizza lunch and beer after the event. All proceeds from this event are donated to Coats for Kids, Global Wheelchair Mission and Orphanos Foundation.

The driving force behind everything we do is the children. We’ve seen the impact a childhood cancer diagnosis has on the entire family and we’re deeply committed to ensuring children affected by a cancer diagnosis have the opportunity to pursue their college dreams with scholarships, regardless of financial challenges. We are painstakingly aware that childhood cancer research continues to be under funded so we continue our mission to help fund Research and Awareness. Our actions brings our WHY to life.
