The Peyton Irwin Foundation is having its 5th annual run/walk….a great race for an even greater cause!!   Peyton loved pineapples, therefore leading us to name this run the Pineapple Run.   Join us as we bring awareness to the dangers of distracted driving.

From headbands and leg warmers to mullets and Walkmans, it’s time to show off your inner Madonna or Maverick before you hit the course!

The Brazos Bend course is the fastest trail in Texas trail running. The course is 99.9% flat, and the only hill is 10 feet. Other than that you will be running on flat surfaces that move from hard crushed rock, soft hiking trails under tree canopy, and easy horse trails. Conditions in the Spring are typically warm and humid but can still start with some cooler mornings. Brazos Bend is a spectacular State Park located just South of Houston/Sugar Land and is most known for its abundance of birds and American Alligators among other wildlife. The gators are a part of our race, there has never been an incident in the park. Enjoy them on your run, from a distance, and you may get some unique race photos!

Bellaire Trolley Run is back again on Saturday, April 11, 2026! Earlybird registration opens December 30. 

To honor those who have died by suicide and those who are forever affected by suicide, the 3rd annual Poppy’s Run For Life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026. 

All proceeds from the row will be donated to the suicide prevention and awareness programs and services at Alexander JFS and the Montrose Center.  

Poppy’s Run for Life is recognized as a 501(c) 3 charity by the IRS.  

The 49th running of the Bayou City Classic 10K, Texas’ oldest 10K race, will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 8AM (Hand-Cycle/Pushrim start is 7:50AM). The 5K Fun Run/Walk will start at 8:20AM (Hand-Cycle/Pushrim start is 8:15AM).

The event takes place in the heart of downtown Houston (Hermann Square adjacent to City Hall). This is a family-friendly, all-inclusive event. We invite EVERYONE to participate. Wheelchair/Pushrim participants are welcomed and encouraged. Full race details at http://www.bayoucityclassic.org.
