Rad Racing Company proudly presents… the 3rd Annual Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN!!
Lace’m-up, get your most patriotic gear on and come join us in Proclaiming Liberty at our 4th of July FREEDOM RUN SHOWDOWN ! This is a family-friendly event that takes place exclusively in Kingwood Texas at the Town Center Park with 4 distances: 8-mile, 4-mile, 2-mile and Kids Dash.
The course is a scenic run through the beautiful Kingwood Greenbelt trails. Our Races offer something for runners of every level – whether some healthy fun with friends/family/co-workers -OR- if you’re more seasoned and looking to stretch your limits… Rad Racing’s got you covered!

The Firecracker 4 is a 4-mile run and 2-mile walk.

This summer, gear up for the Texas Red, White and Blue Half Marathon—the most exhilarating race to hit the Lone Star State! Hosted by Bigfoot Running Company, this event will take you on a breathtaking journey through Texas’ stunning trails, showcasing all the natural beauty our state has to offer.

Wildflower takes place over two days with a range of standard and unique race distances. This is a beautiful single-track trail system in the Texas Hill Country. The trail will take you through sections of pine, sand, rock, rolling climbs, and fun descents. The scenery allows you to see the fire-struck forest from 2011 as well as the rebirth of the Lost Pines in the area.

Review of Wildflower Trail Run

This race is so much fun and a great option for anyone who wants to try out a trail race. There are so many different options for distances, and it’s not too far from Houston. It’s a great time!

Texas’ Hottest trail race, the Habanero Hundred was born from a summer long-run gone wrong (ask Race Director Cal) and is now one of the largest trail races in the state, held in August every year with options for many distances and the marquee event being the 100-mile distance.

The relay option will also allow you to run with a team, friends, or family to complete this monumental task. In the first year of the event, we only had ONE finisher in the 100 Mile event, Julie Schmal! Ever since we have put our 100mi finishers’ names printed on the back of the next year’s shirt. Between 2015 and 2024 there have only been 162 finishes of the Habanero Hundred 100mi.

Are you up for the challenge? Maybe start with one of our shorter solo distances or join a team in the highly competitive relay events for either the 100km or 100mi distance relays.

We love the 4th so much that we start celebrating Independence Day the week before!! Join us for the 10th annual Independence Day 8K! Freedom is a wonderful thing!

This also happens to be the 6th race in the Houston Holiday Series!

Join the fight against hunger by participating in Montgomery County Food Bank’s annual Outrun Hunger event, featuring a 8K & 5K Trail Run | 1K Color Dash : Presented By H-E-B. The event’s proceeds benefit Montgomery County Food Bank’s programs for children, seniors, and families facing hunger in Montgomery County. This community-wide event offers summer fun for all ages. All event long at the Party Pavilion, you’ll enjoy music, food trucks, photo ops, a kids zone, and more. We encourage all participants to set up a fundraiser to make your impact go even further. Every $1 raised provides up to 4 meals. Let’s make a colorful dash into summer!

For more than 25 years, the Alexandria Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has supported scholarships and educational initiatives across the greater Houston area. Each year, the ‘06K Race extends that mission through charitable giving. In 2026, proceeds will support local Autism nonprofits Hope for Three and Seensory and Me Ministries, organizations dedicated to serving individuals with Autism and their families through advocacy, education, and inclusive programming.

This course runs along the water at surfside beach on the hard packed sand.

The Brazos Bend course is the fastest trail in Texas trail running. The course is 99.9% flat, and the only hill is 10 feet. Other than that you will be running on flat surfaces that move from hard crushed rock, soft hiking trails under tree canopy, and easy horse trails. Conditions in the Spring are typically warm and humid but can still start with some cooler mornings. Brazos Bend is a spectacular State Park located just South of Houston/Sugar Land and is most known for its abundance of birds and American Alligators among other wildlife. The gators are a part of our race, there has never been an incident in the park. Enjoy them on your run, from a distance, and you may get some unique race photos!

Ready to run your heart out? Join us for the annual Couple Shuffle 2-mile, 5k, and 10k! Whether you’re sprinting with your sweetheart or racing solo, this Valentine themed race promises a heart-pounding good time. Enjoy a course sprinkled with fun photo ops, and a finish line filled with sweet treats and high-fives. Put on your running shoes and let’s make this Valentine’s a day to remember!

2025 represents our 13th year of spreading holiday cheer through running! Join us on Saturday, December 20th, 2025 as we celebrate the 8th day of Christmas with 8 maids a-milking!
